Towns County Historical Society does something different from regular programs each year in July by having a special program devoted to our local veterans. This year it will be held at the Foster Park Recreation & Convention Center at 150 Foster Park Road, Young Harris from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Come join this patriotic program and hear stories by our honored and very special veterans. Commissioner Cliff Bradshaw, Iwo Jima Veteran Bud Johnson, and students Gabriel Moody and Summer Rahn will be on the program. A free sack lunch will be provided for all the veterans, so invite any you know.
